Support for pregnancy, postpartum and the journey of parenting
Becoming a parent is one of the biggest transitions in your lifetime, and no one fully prepares you for it. Alongside the immense love, there can be anxiety, grief, exhaustion, intrusive thoughts, or a quiet sense of wait, who am I now? If you’re struggling, nothing is wrong with you. You deserve support, too.
i work with:
pregnancy and postpartum depression and anxiety
birth trauma and difficult birth experiences
the identity shift of motherhood (matrescence)
infertility, pregnancy loss, and the waiting in between
relationship changes with your partner after baby
feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or “not like yourself”
second- and third-time parents, too (it doesn’t always get easier!)
how we’ll work together
There’s no one-size-fits-all here. I blend somatic work to help your nervous system feel safer and more settled, art therapy and creative modalities for when words aren’t enough (no art experience needed), and talk therapy to make sense of your story. Your body has been through a lot, and we’ll honor that. For couples navigating this shift together, I also offer Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you stay connected through the chaos.
birth trauma
If your birth didn’t go the way you hoped, or left you feeling scared, unheard, or shaken, you’re not alone and you’re not “overreacting.” We’ll go at your pace, gently, with your body leading the way.
